Shiatsu aims to treat the whole person on a physical, emotional and mental level.  In addition to treating specific conditions, it is also an effective way to maintain and promote good health.  

Shiatsu helps the body help itself by awakening and supporting the receiver's own self-healing process.

Often the symptoms that we experience (headaches, muscular tension, emotional imbalance) are our body's way of letting us know that something is 'out of balance'.  A Shiatsu Practitioner aims to address the underlying patterns which caused these conditions.  If symptoms are ignored, over a period of time, they may become chronic  leading to other illness.
